Dr. Julie Henderson
Your Arvada Chiropractor
I want you to know how truly blessed I feel to have found you. I was born with scoliosis but it wasn’t diagnosed until I was in my early 20’s. I started chiropractic in earnest in Frisco, CO in the 1980’s and it has always been a help to me. I have also had acupuncture on and off up in the Frisco area over the years, but the providers up there are few and far between and, although it helped, I generally found it to be cost prohibitive.
Finding you has given me a totally new and much more satisfying experience. I’m especially grateful for your individualized attention and your periodic follow-up exams to ensure we’re still on the right track. The combination of “my” chiropractic and acupuncture has done wonders for me! I leave my appointments feeling good and feeling rejuvenated. With my former chiropractor, although the treatments provided a generally positive result, I could plan on a little pain during the treatment and being sore for about 24 hours after the treatment. With your individualized care and treatment, this just isn’t happening anymore!
I’m also really liking the taping work you’re doing on me. It definitely adds another dimension to my overall wellbeing. I don’t think any practitioner in the Frisco area ever even heard (at least while I lived there).
It was a combination of location and insurance acceptance that led me to you, but I believe that something higher than that was also involved.
With much gratitude,
When I started treating with Dr. Julie, I was suffering from lower back pain with shooting pains through my hips and legs and numbness and tingling in my toes if I stood for too long. I had suffered with this pain on and off for several years and was told that it was caused by herniated discs coupled with degenerative disc syndrome.
My other doctors gave me pain medications and muscle relaxants but these seemed to only cover up the pain and it continued to come back. A friend with similar back issues recommended that I try chiropractic care. Initially I was concerned that it would actually hurt me more than it would help. Surprise! I found that even after a single session I felt some relief. I certainly didn’t expect total relief because of the severity of my pain, but it was wonderful to feel some relief and it gave me hope for the future to be less painful.
Dr. Julie not only listened to my history of pain & offered possible solutions, but she did a lot of research to help us make good decisions for my treatment. After regular decompression sessions and chiropractic treatments, I am now able to be proactive in my care for my back and feel so much better. I don’t ever anticipate being totally pain free, but it is minimal now and flare-ups are rare and now I can trace what is causing the flare-ups and deal with them. I am more aware of my body and chiropractic helps me stay aligned to keep symptoms from returning. Being proactive helps keep me active!
I started treating with Dr. Julie at the end of 2012 after returning from a trip to Florida. I was suffering from pain in my lower back and in the nerve running down my left leg. It was very uncomfortable and kept me from sleeping at night due to the pain.
I’d had success with chiropractic treatments in the past and decided to try it again. Dr. Julie was very pleasant and put me at ease right away. I had immediate relief with the treatments and exercises that she prescribed. I continue my exercises daily along with regular chiropractic adjustments in order to achieve further wellness.
I was first taken to the chiropractor by my parents in the 1970’s due to my posture and have been treated on and off ever since. When I started treating with Dr. Julie I was suffering from migraine headaches and lower back pain from a herniated disc. The migraines had gotten to the point of “I can’t deal with this anymore,” and I knew I had to do something.
Dr. Julie listened to what was wrong and took the time to work with me. She adjusted me differently than I had been adjusted in the past and used stretching on my lower back. Within 2-3 weeks I started having fewer migraines and my lower back pain is no longer constant. I feel that I can move my body more freely, I am able to stand longer and I can exercise and sleep better. I will never stop being adjusted, it is my life line.
